And it's not even Christmas morning.
The only gift I need this year is the look on Annabelle's face. People say that Christmas is too focused on things and presents and commercialism. But I think this child-like delight at a new toy is very much a part of the Christmas spirit. (It's we adults who over do it sometimes.) It sure makes my heart happy every time I see this picture. Thank you to Ben's sister Emily and her family for sending us a Christmas package and making this moment of pure delight possible.
