We basically just visited the St. Louis Zoo and drove around to check out our old stomping grounds. We spent our first year of marriage on the Illinois side of St. Louis at Scott Air Force Base and it was fun to drive by our old apartment and see how the area has changed in almost 6 years. We were able to visit with our friends the Sullivans who are stationed there now who we knew when we lived in Italy. We also went to our old ward on Sunday and ran into just a couple people who we remembered.

Memorial Day Weekend
We got brave and decided to take our first road trip with our two girls. They actually both did awesome in the car and sleeping in the hotel. We had to make lots of extra stops for potty breaks and feedings but it wasn't too bad. I found these headphones for Katie that are not only cute-as-can-be but saved Ben and me from listening to the same song 20 times in a row and having her continually ask for us to turn the music "really, really loud!" They even have a volume control on them so I could set the maximum and keep her from becoming deaf by the end of the trip. I set her up with an old discman we had and a little case of her favorite CD's. She loved it.
