Winter weather

Warmer days are just around the corner but for now we are hunkering down for the last bit of winter. Last week we had a doozy of a snow storm the day Ben needed to drive to Chicago for a conference.  He got out of town early to get ahead of the storm and I got to snow blow the driveway.  It was actually fun and refreshing to be outside.
Then, earlier this week we had not a snow day but an ice day.  School was cancelled because of freezing rain that left a coat of ice everywhere. The girls had fun chopping off slabs of it from the top of the snow.
 This hasn't been too bad of a winter.  I'm ready for spring but I don't feel like I've gotten the winter blues like in years past.
