Ten Years Later...

One of the first dates Ben ever took me on was to a favorite Mexican restaurant (El Ranchero) followed by driving around looking at the Christmas lights.  Little did we know that exactly 10 years later, almost to the day, we'd repeat the same date only this time with 3 little girls in tow.  We now live an hour from the restaurant but we thought it would be fun to take the girls there and repeat the experience.  After dinner we drove around looking at Christmas lights with Katie shouting "Left!" or "Right!" depending on where she saw lights.  Natalie was wailing and Annabelle kept asking us to turn on a show.  A little noisier than ten years ago but hey, that's our life now.  We drove by and showed them the house that  Ben used to live in.  It was fun to tell the girls about our original date.   I think we will try to make this a yearly tradition.
