ST. LOUIS TRIP Part 2

We went to Grant's Farm where you could feed milk to cute little baby goats.  Natalie especially loved this.

There was also a merry-go-round which is always a hit with the girls.

And a few zoo style animals.  This was our one main outdoor activity and it was hot even though we went first thing in the morning.  Fortunately there was quite a bit of shade.

Speaking of hot....it never got below 100 during the day the whole time we were there.  It was usually around 105 but one time we got in the car and found this temp.  As we started driving it cooled off to 108.

And speaking of hot...check out this cool hot dog mobile.  It was in the parking lot of the hotel and the girls always looked for it each time we came or went.  Sometimes it was gone and we would tease Natalie that Clifford that big red dog had eaten it up.

One time we were admiring the great hot dog when two young adult girls came out and hopped in it.  They saw our girls and jumped out and gave them these little whistles.  They said that they drive around doing promotionals.  Sounds like a fun job.
Ben thought that it was actually a hot dog truck that sold hot dogs so one time he was like, "So, do you think we should get the girls a hot dog?" and I was like, "uh, there's no one in there and I'm pretty sure there's no real hot dogs in there either."
It was funny at the time.
