July 2013

July was packed with lots of fun summer activities.

 

Over July 4th we went to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. 
They had some great family spots including Bookworm Gardens.

Sheboygan is right on Lake Michigan which was a big reason we went.  Unfortunately, it was pretty cold and windy and we didn't spend as much time on the beach as we thought we would.

There was still plenty to do. 
Like mini golf.

The favorite for the kids was the indoor water park. 
We spent several hours each day there.

Also in July, we went to Nauvoo, Illinois for some fun pioneer games and the pageant.

My sister Becky and her family came to Iowa to visit.  My Mom wishes she could celebrate each holiday with all of her grandkids so she had Easter, Halloween, and Christmas for them each on a separate day.
