This afternoon I was leaving the grocery store and the outside thermometer in the car read "17." I thought hmmm....it feels much colder than that. Sure enough, as I drove home it dropped down to "8." That's more like it.

Isn't it kind of sad that I would be so familiar with frigid temperatures that I can tell the difference between "stinking cold" and "colder than heck."
